I sit here
Trying to read, but I can't...
I want to stay focused cos...
I know that school is necessary
If I'm to succeed
Without it we would all be bums,
Like the one down at orchard...hehez
I am totally lost...
Walking like a zombie...
Have this totally empty look in my eyes...
Feeling totally spellbound...
Sometimes is bugging me...
Whatever it is
It's making me crazy!
After a splash of water
Back am i to my work
Slaving all day long
At my learning task,
I'd like a little rest at home,
Is this too much to ask?
Apparently so, for late at night
I work with eyes of glass
Just to hear my pop says "Your work's not done!
& my "si fu"[teacher] lecturing Do not sleep in class!"
Inexplicably I catch myself dreaming...AGAIN!
I closed my eyes
I start to dream
My blood is rushing
That feeling of uneasiness crept again
The origin of it stll unknown
Something is amiss
Suddenly reality knocks on my door
I crash down - fast - CRACK...BOOM...BANG!
I found what's been bothering me
GRACE!!
Yes...it's her
Guilty was i to neglect her these past few days
For was i too engrossed in my sch work
I get sad...
My hope keeps me going...
Need so bad to be touched by you...
I can feel the excitement...
Sometimes I wonder...
Wondering if you feel the same...
I still keep that silly smile in my face...
All i juz wanna say is that...."i'm sorry"
